STATEMENT

"My subject matter is the personal. My fascination of the self derives from an ever growing and deeply rooted interest in the human being and their many faces, assets and ways of existing within society. How are we humans being represented? Who are we and what is the meaning of our expressions. Beyond the human I find inspiration in the structures, surfaces and psychological impacts of contemporary urban landscapes and the philosophy of psychogeography. My visual expression draws inspiration from older analogue photo and animation techniques, pictorialism, current fashion aesthetics and metropolitan looks. I work with interdisciplinary techniques of digital and analogue photography, animation and fine art print. You mostly catch me on location around the world, or in my studio located on Söder, Stockholm."
